These deer tanned or glove tanned leathers, smooth or textured, offer unparalleled softness. These cow hides are great for crafting and are full grain glove leather which is soft and flexible. This leather is dyed in barrels without adding pigment and surface finish. They are considered 'naked' which gives them an incomparable natural appearance. Since it is not protected by a surface finish, this leather will carry natural marks from the animal.
The hides come in assorted approximate sizes between 16 ft²+/- 20 ft². The thickness of the hides is 3-3.5 oz for the cream, 2-2.5 oz for the Gold Tan and 2.5-3 oz for the Pumpkin colours.
You can purchase the wax thread which is coarse waxed polyester sinew 8 oz for Speedy Awl in natural color, 800 yards.
